FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in a program office within the Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive, Aviation-Carrier Strike (DPAE (A-CS)).
Major duties
Incumbent serves as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization. Directs and/or performs continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization. Prepares briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. Prepares or reviews responses to reviews or audits; e.g., FMB, GAO, DODIG etc. which involve financial management policy and procedure. Conducts management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the ability to formulate budgets and develop financial support plans for complex acquisition programs; execute program funds and integrate financial business methods, policies, and practices with acquisition requirements in support of PAE-Aviation programs; analyze financial and budgetary relationships to develop recommendations and implement budgetary actions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; monitor and report financial execution status and directly contribute to the development and production of budget exhibits and related financial reports; and maintain financial records and reconcile commitments, obligations, and expenditures to ensure accountability, accuracy, and proper stewardship of program funds.
