LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the of NAVAIR SYS COM HQ NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Major duties
You will responsible, for leading a team of senior and junior financial management analysts. You will responsible for Budget Formulation, Presentation, and Justification. You will promulgates, implements, and updates budget call letters and requests for supplemental budget estimates for the DoN, OSD/ OMB, and President's budget submissions. You will support assigned programs during the DoN, OSD/OMB, and President's budget reviews; reviews reclamas and PBDs; and makes recommendation
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Master concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels; 2) Developing, recommending and implementing budgetary/financial policies; 3) Interpreting, assessing and project potential impact of new/revised Congressional legislation; 4)Analyzing, reviewing, and interpreting financial execution data and resolving variances; 5) Communicating clearly both orally and in writing for the purpose of providing information and guidance to management or customers at all levels Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
