LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Lead Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department (Code 0122) of NSWC PHILA DIV.
Major duties
You will perform and/or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of accounting. You will coach the managerial accounting team in selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and provide advice on work methods, procedures, etc.... You will communicate assignments/projects, milestones, deadlines and timeframes for completion. You will research, learn and apply qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products. You will represent the team in dealing with the supervisor in order to obtain resources and convey team findings and recommendations to program officials or other customers. You will communicate the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values and incorporate these into the team’s goals, objectives, work products and services.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate leading and directing a team of personnel to accomplish mission-essential work, including managing daily workloads, establishing strategic priorities, and dynamically amending workflows to optimize operational efficiency. Examples of experience may include proven ability to communicate both orally and in writing, to deliver precise guidance and technical information to subordinates, brief senior leadership, management, and diverse stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, highly proficient in leveraging Microsoft Office Suite and Navy ERP to perform data tracking, generate reports, and facilitate informed, data-driven decision-making.
