Major duties

You will be responsible to the unit head for coordinating and monitoring the budget and budget formulation process for Facility and Capability Activations. You will plan and coordinate the facility and capability activation efforts and branch liaison at all sites based upon evaluation of broad projected plans for fleet deployment of Fleet Ballistic Missiles. You will provide cost comparisons of extended programs conducted in existing facilities vs expansion of facilities to perform missile and facility modernization during limited time periods. You will manage unit support of special long-range studies related to siting, sizing, planning and budgeting for new facilities required in support of FBM deployed and/or future missile systems.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer, leading facility activations, production or operations experience, program management and/or budget planning to support missile deployment by applying engineering and acquisitions expertise for efficient mission readiness.
