What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the Technology, Innovation, and Engineering Department of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Major duties

You will serve as the Business and Financial Manager (BFM) for the department. You will be directly responsible for exercising civilian leadership principles in carrying out assigned duties including setting objectives and work plans, coaching, managing, and supervising a staff of Project BFMs. You will develop plans and makes written and oral presentations to others on status, costs and technical problems and resolutions. You will perform and monitor department financial and business operations such as A11 budgets, procurement practices, and monitors Navy Working Capital Fund targets and guidelines. You will provide tactical and strategic direction on all policies and procedures related to department business and financial practices.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and monitoring fiscal resources and providing information to managers in the department for future planning; and implement plans and allocates resources within organizational component and is expected to formulate organizational strategies to acquire and allocate resources.
