Major duties

You will assist the Director in managing and overseeing the administrative responsibilities associated with the organization and management of the Personal Security Program for VX-9 and subordinate staff. You will oversee and manage indoctrination's, debriefs, and foreign contact interviews. You will plan and carry out review of command security programs. You will assist in implementing and maintaining a comprehensive security education program by facilitating training for military and civilian personnel. You will assist in managing and monitoring policies, procedures, instructions and methods for document markings, physical storage and control, transmitting and destroying classified information. You will be responsible for verifying all security clearances and the issuance of access badges for personnel requiring access to VX-9 spaces.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the management of personnel or information security programs by utilizing policies and procedures to resolve problems and eliminate or control vulnerabilities.
