What you'd do

You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT in the SECURITY DIVISION of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.

Major duties

You will monitor and update tracking of clearance eligibility. You will initiate and process Security clearance investigation requests for Contractors. You will maintain computerized reference of security clearance information and building badge request.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the management of the command Security Program; 2) Initiating and processing Security clearance investigation requests for Contractors; 3) Monitoring and tracking the status of security clearance request (i.e., background investigations, re-investigations, and fingerprints); and 4) Coordinating with installation security personnel for visits by contractor personnel.
