About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-W0KGAA US ARMY JOINT COUNTER-UAS OFFICE.
Major duties
Serve as the foremost subject matter expert on the application and portrayal of Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CsUAS) threats in an operational environment (OE). Develop and present intelligence analysis and briefing products to a wide variety of senior leaders on all aspects of CsUAS in response to requests for information (RFIs). Ensure Organizational adherence to directives, regulations, and security requirements. Participate in intelligence community and interagency conferences, meetings, and working groups to provide expertise on CsUAS intelligence production and programmatic issues. Explain and interpret CsUAS intelligence and threats to senior leaders within training centers, test centers, major wargames and experiments. Provide authoritative advice on the integration and portrayal of the OE and threat in wargames and experiments that have major impacts across the Department of War enterprise.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of progressively responsible specialized experience which includes assisting with information requests on counter-small unmanned aircraft system threats; providing guidance or advisement on counter-small unmanned aircraft systems, intelligence production, or programmatic issues to internal or external partners; and providing wargame or threat representation support. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS/GG-13). Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
