What you'd do

You will serve as a Engineering Technician in the NAVAL STA NT RI.

Major duties

You will track estimates and expenditures and implement controls necessary to keep budget execution in line. You will provide guidance to architect and engineering technicians in the development of more formal long term projects and master planning by developing an integrated project list annually. You will communicate customer concerns and desires so that proper customer focus will be incorporated in the funding decision making process. You will take action to administer the emergency, urgent, and routine calls for assigned facilities. You will anticipate problems, identify and remove productivity disincentives and resolve all concerns before they become major issues. You will communicate daily with customer and coordinate all maintenance services for assigned facilities.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the workflow of facility maintenance projects; 2) Overseeing maintenance, repair, construction techniques; and facilities management, maintenance planning, acquisition, and/or contracting processes; 3) Analyzing and evaluating requirements and work order requests for repair maintenance and construction submitted by clients; 4) Overseeing cost estimating, cost analysis techniques and formats to prepare and evaluate alternatives; and 5) Utilizing Single Platform Maximo (SPM) Work Management System.
