What you'd do

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistic Management Specialist in the Ammunition Supply Chain Strategy Division of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.

Major duties

You will perform a wide range of duties associated with managing the Mobile Fleet Support Team You will utilize extensive knowledge of ordnance supply, logistics, inventory management and system reporting. You will develop and execute inventory management-related training, training aids, and re-fresher courses. You will carry out EEO policies and procedures in hiring, training, and promoting employees.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing expertise to on the application and development of retail ordnance policies and systems to optimize utilization and availability. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying knowledge of ordnance management policies, instructions, regulations, and programs in order to oversee operations; 2) Developing training courses and presentations for ordnance and ordnance information systems; and 3) Utilizing management and program evaluation techniques to identify process deficiencies and recommend corrective action.
