What you'd do

You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST of NAVAL AIR STATION WHIDBEY ISLAND.

Major duties

You will manage, administer, and maintain a Command Cybersecurity Program that identifies cyber architecture. You will coordinate, implement, and manage Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Program for Command users. You will serve as a primary Technical Cybersecurity Advisor for the Command. You will provide Incident and Violation Management. You will oversee the implementation of the NMCI Cybersecurity Program at the Command-level.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing the Command's Installation cybersecurity program by overseeing architecture, policies, user training, and system security for various network classifications. Experience administering the Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Program by conducting security assessments, testing, and verification of information systems. Experience serving as the Command's Installation primary Technical Cybersecurity Advisor, reporting all facets of the Command's security posture directly to the Region Cybersecurity Program Manager. Experience directing incident and violation management, ensuring security breaches are properly reported, investigated, and resolved. Experience overseeing the implementation of the NMCI Cybersecurity Program at the command level, ensuring contractor compliance and proper user account management.
