MANAGEMENT ANALYST (OA)
What you'd do
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (OA) in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY of NMRTC NEW ENGLAND RI.
Major duties
You will monitor and track funding levels for support activities. You will prepare a wide variety of written reports and correspondence focused on program performance and evaluations of mission areas and supporting activities, review staff actions, and create/maintain manuals, procedures, databases and other tools. You will research, collect, review, interpret, evaluate, and consolidate informational data from multiple sources, prepare program performances and evaluative work products, and participate in meetings/ provide briefings on analytical findings. You will advise managers and senior leadership on program performance measurements, processes, data research, assessments, and other program performance issues, and assist in the implementation of change across field offices to ensure improvement.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data and reporting tools. Experience in the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience in working knowledge of DoW or Navy instructions, polices and program requirements, analyzing program performance or manpower requirements. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
