IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC)
What you'd do
You will serve as an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC) in the Information Systems Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Major duties
You will install approved software and updates following established. You will maintain inventory records and report system issues to senior administrators. You will assist users with password resets and routine hardware and software issues; provide basic guidance on standard IT services. You will ensure compliance with applicable security policies during assigned tasks. You will update existing documentation as directed and maintain accurate records in accordance with established procedures.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Assisting with creating and maintaining user accounts and performing routine workstation setup and equipment installation; install approved software and updates following established procedures; 2) Assisting users with routine hardware and software issues and providing guidance on standard IT services; 3) Following established cybersecurity procedures and safeguarding sensitive information; 4) Preparing ticket updates, and technical notes and documenting completed work and troubleshooting activities; 5) Responding to routine customer inquiries, providing basic technical assistance in person, by phone, or electronically; 6) Identifying and resolving routine technical problems by gathering information from users. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
