MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYSIS OFFICER
What you'd do
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYSIS OFFICER in the Warfighting Support Center (NP2), Naval Oceanographic office of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Major duties
You will report to senior management and other Department Heads and production managers on the status of data transmissions, production processes, and 24/7 watch floor manning concerns. You will ensure remotely collected data arrives expeditiously using identified methods and is delivered to the applicable department personnel for further exploitation. You will coordinate across Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) departments on watch floor manning make-up. You will coordinate with managers in other departments to ensure the two-way transition of appropriate raw data, databases and products to include in further dissemination. You will represent NAVOCEANO in meetings at the Flag Officer level on Survey Operations Center activities to include funding and technical capability status with other government agencies, at scientific and technical symposiums, conferences, etc.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Experience with program resource management processes to provide administration for resource related issues relating to various capabilities related to naval oceanography. 2. Experience with working level knowledge of oceanographic survey methods and communication streams in order to plan, manage, review and assume responsibility for scientific evaluation and technical functions of the Survey Operations Center. 3. Experience vetting customer requirements and resultant products are disseminated through requested dissemination mechanisms. 4. Experience using various methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate broad-based information concerning production management processes and metrics. 5. Experience effectively communicating with personnel at all levels, both orally and in writing, within and outside the command.
