FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Major duties
You will perform and/or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will conduct performance and financial reviews and validation testing. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of programs and administrative operations;2)Interpreting budgetary/accounting policies and practices to resolve technical and operational problems with retail procurement procedures;3)Presenting and defending budget reports and estimates to senior leadership;4)Establishing, monitoring, and validating financial management commitments and obligations; 5) Utilizing knowledge of Working Capital and Aircraft Navy (APN)-6 funds.
