This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will ensure that COMSEC-related publications on hand in the COMSEC (Communication Security) Library are the most recent publications. You will ensure that COMSEC material shipped outside of the command is properly packaged and shipped via an authorized method outlined in the EKMS (Electronic Key Management System) series. You will ensure appointment and authorization letters for Local Elements and their custodians are up to date, especially as they leave their command permanently. You will distribute COMSEC material on local custody form(s) after verifying that the recipient is authorized and appointed in writing by their Commanding Officer to receive and hold COMSEC material. You will maintain and active accounting of 450-500 secure wire line and mobile telephone units. You will assist in providing operator training to all holders and users of secure telephones and associated secure devices.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing communications security duties by maintaining records, safeguarding materials, conducting inventories, and following established procedures.
