Major duties
You will be responsible for leading planning, budgeting and contracting for weapon system Test and Evaluation (T and E) efforts among the section. You will be responsible for the execution of and guiding others in performing Test and Evaluation (T and E) Principles. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on workload and progress across the team, and instruct and provide on-the-job training to team members. You will design system-level effectiveness criteria in support of developmental and operation testing of the weapon system. You will draft testable objectives, data collection plan, supporting test plans, and components of the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP). You will facilitate technical exchange meetings between internal program leads and external testing agencies and act on behalf of Test Strategy Section Head (SPC51) in various engagements with leadership and the engineering community.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying, developing, implementing, and/or making recommendations or solutions to the Test and Evaluation (T&E) strategy of a weapon system in an assigned program area.
