What you'd do

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will receive and review drafts of specifications, modifying as necessary to ensure clarity, adequacy, technical continuity, and completeness. You will conduct pre-award conferences and discussions with contractor representatives. You will oversee contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. You will evaluate contractor proposals and furnish comments and recommendations on price proposals submitted under contracts. You will monitor the progress of contracts to ensure that they are progressing in accordance with schedules. You will prepare, review, and administer procurement and contractual documents to ensure contracts are accurate, complete and compliant with acquisition requirements.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Participating in pre-award and post award contract administration associated with procurement and acquisition procedures, by reviewing and evaluating contractor's proposals, cost and price analysis, monitoring contractor's performance and contract negotiation. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
