What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the IN-SERVICE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Major duties

You will manage and supervise in a complex/dynamic team environment and personnel of varying disciplines and grade levels. You will supervise, mentor, evaluate and counsel government employees assigned to the Branch. You will plan, define requirement, implement and evaluate performance of contractor services to accomplish assigned workload. You will liaison with sponsors, customers and end users to assure products and services meet Fleet readiness requirements and assure they remain current and relevant. You will utilize effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to conduct briefings for senior staff and flag officers, senior government and contractor representatives. You will provide technical direction to government and contractor personnel in the execution of all assigned tasking.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing complex integrated logistics or product support projects, to include planning, organizing, and delegating work for engineering teams. Applying Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and logistics engineering procedures to support submarine systems. Utilizing naval or large-scale enterprise supply system procedures to provide supportability for legacy and new systems. Formulating and presenting technical logistics data and project statuses through oral and written communications to stakeholders or leadership.
