DISTINGUISHED ENGINEER/SCIENTIST for TEST AND EVALUATION of SCALABLE, ADVANCED HYPERSONICS
What you'd do
You will serve as Distinguished Scientist/Engineer for Test and Evaluation of Scalable, Advanced Hypersonics and shall be nationally recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in experimentation and test and evaluation of Hypersonic weapon systems and associated subsystems and technologies of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Major duties
You will provide national technical leadership for the test and evaluation and experimentation of Hypersonic weapons and associated systems and technologies. You will provide senior technical consultation, recommendations, and expert advice to the Department of Navy (DON) and the Department of War (DOW) in Hypersonic Missile Test and Evaluation and experimentation. You will partners with other national leaders in various technology areas applicable to implementing that technology into the Hypersonic Missile and/or weapon system. You will participate and oversee the development experimentation and test and evaluation plans and methods in order to successfully accomplish the DoW and DON strategies for development of Hypersonic weapon systems. You will serve as SME to system researchers and designers for Weapon Systems that will integrate Hypersonic Missiles and Systems into a system of systems. You will lead the development of test and evaluation and experimentation strategies across the DON and DoW emphasizing affordability, scalability, and speed.

Engineering or Science background with sensor systems, weapon systems, and systems-of-systems hardware and software integration in product areas relevant to Hypersonic Missiles, and experience integrating these products to meet broader naval and joint warfighting objectives across various enterprises. TQ2.
