This position is located at: Multiple Facilities at Fort Irwin, California. Join the MWR team at Fort Irwin, California. We serve the greatest Army in the world and are dedicated to helping soldiers, families, retirees and DoW civilians stay fit and healthy!

Major duties

Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects. Issues/receives recreational equipment, opens and/or closes facilities (key holder), assures security system is operable, collects fees, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits. Cleans equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment, maintains areas of building and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make facilities ready for use. Coordinates with program staff to ensure adequate equipment is available in sufficient time to conduct program activities and tests mechanical equipment for serviceability after each use. Maybe required to drive a motor vehicle as needed.
