Lead Administrative Specialist
What you'd do
This announcement is for the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), Department of Justice (DOJ), in Washington, D.C. The primary purpose of the position is to provide liaison and administrative support in the areas of facilities and space management, time and attendance, and supply management information technology liaison and human resources for OSG and the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC).
Major duties
The duties and responsibilities for a GS-0301-14 Lead Administrative Specialist-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Serve as advisor to assigned program areas in support of administrative services in the areas of personnel management, safety, space management, and/or other general administrative functions. Manage, operate, and maintain documents/data into diverse automated systems to process or obligate payment for delivery/acquisition of services. Establish measurable performance metrics for administrative support functions and report those metrics to upper office management. Report to upper management deadlines and/or priorities set. Serve as the security program manager providing responsibility for the continuity of operations program, the operational security (OPSEC) program, and is the occupant emergency coordinator.

For the GS-14: Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which demonstrates providing advisory for administrative services to staff in areas such as personnel management, facility or space management. No Substitution allowed at the GS-14 grade level. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by 07/23/2026 of this announcement.
