What you'd do

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP, Logistics Integration Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.This is for an Assistant Program Manager for Logistics within PMA 261, H53 weapons system. This announcement may be used to fill other critical positions.

Major duties

You will formulate the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned weapon system. You will manage project/program requirements, objectives, and metrics; and resolves conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources. You will provide logistics management expertise required to manage product support integration across multiple product support elements, into the delivery of coordinated logistics products to the Warfighter You will develop integrated product support elements (IPSE) or Sustainment planning and supportability requirements for program documentation and manage the development and preparation of logistics sections of these documents. You will coordinate efforts to improve aircraft readiness and overall aircraft material condition

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DS-05 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing all Integrated Logistics Support Elements across the total life cycle of the weapons system; 2) Leading logistics professionals in all logistics elements; 3) Identifying deficiencies and creating mitigation steps to ensure weapons readiness; 4) Managing and defending logistics financial resources management to include understanding requirements, planning and execution.
