FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the DEPT OF THE NAVY of COMFLTREADCEN.
Major duties
You will Work closely with requirement owners to review workload requirements to ensure the most accurate data is incorporated into the budget submission and identify potential solutions to funding concerns. You will perform duties associated with Navy Working Capital Fund budget formulation, presentation and justification, budget execution, contract review and financial management of an approved budget ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will conducti studies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of work methods, procedures, organizations, manpower use, work distribution, delegation of authority, management controls, information and documentation systems. You will lead or manage the financial management analysis of programs or project funds, costs, obligations, budget planning, formulating and execution, or financial reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. You will require experience working with Microsoft Excel and Navy ERP to extract, analyze, and interpret business and financial reports/data. You will coordinate and communicate across internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements or discuss alternative funding options.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the gs-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the review of requirements to support budget formulation, identifying potential funding issues, and participating in various phases of budget administration, including the formulation and execution of funds, familiar with financial policies and regulations. 2) Performing financial analysis of program and project funds, including costs, obligations, and budget execution 3) Assisting in analyses and studies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and organizational procedures 4) Utilizing financial systems, such as the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Microsoft Excel, to extract, analyze, and interpret business and financial data. 5) Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to discuss financial requirements and funding options.
