What you'd do

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the NWCF POM/Budget (N811), Budget (N81), Comptroller Department (N8), Military Sealift Command (MSC) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

Major duties

You will use funds document usage. You will use funds certification. You will use POM and budget formulation. You will use monthly and quarterly budget execution variances. You will use NWCF financial policies and procedures.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience formulating budget, POM, and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. Experience reviewing funds document usage to review and evaluate budget requests. Experience implementing fund certifications. Experience reviewing monthly and quarterly budget execution variances to present and defend estimates before authorities, and the controlling and reporting of obligations and expenditures. Experience implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets using NWCF financial policies and procedures.
