What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANGEMENT SPECIALIST on the VH-92 Fleet Support Team (FST) of FLTREADCEN EAST located at Patuxent River, MD.

Major duties

You will serve as the acknowledged expert for logistics support related to the assigned aircraft or engine and acts as a representative of the NAVAL Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PSM/APML for matters relating to acquisition, sustainment and logistics. You will lead to ensure fleet aircraft/engine safety and readiness goals are fully supported while minimizing total aircraft/engine operating costs. You will communicate precisely; both in the written and spoken word and develop sound relationships between all stakeholders within the fleet, Program Manager Air (PMA), and FST community. You will coordinate program support issues between the APML, Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leader and FST Lead You will identify aircraft/engine ILS program planning and execution problems You will review acquisition planning and procurement documents to ensure integration of systems command policies, procedures, contract provisions and contract data requirements for ILS and related programs.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing program sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics support; 2) Effectively managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system; 4) Evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make logistical decisions.
