What you'd do

You will serve as a SENIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the VH-92 FST of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Major duties

You will manage the requirements for qualified personnel, processes, facilities, and ensure trainings /requirements are translated into sound engineering products. You will investigate, research, and determine applicability of modifications for the program. You will develop solutions to fleet reported issues. You will analyze/recommend adjustments to specified service life intervals for aircraft/weapons and equipment. You will develop cost analysis tradeoffs for varying degrees of capability to ensure requirements are balanced with affordability.

What you need to qualify

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Developing program sustainment and acquisition engineering support. 2.) Managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system. 3.) Evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make engineering decisions.
