What you'd do

You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND (CNIC) of NSA ANNAPOLIS SECURITY DETACHMENT.

Major duties

You will prepare and maintain a variety of Security support documents. You will review documents for conformance with regulations grammar, formatting, and special policies. You will receive calls greet visitors, and direct calls and visitors to appropriate office or person needing assistance. You will maintain and obtain supplies for the organization.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting policy to ensure uniform application of regulations and processes; 2) Utilizing word processing and database management to retrieve data and incorporate it into reports; 3) Utilizing correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization to complete documents; and 4) Receiving visitors and/or screening phone calls to determine the nature of requests to direct callers to the appropriate person or office. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
