SECURITY ASSISTANT
What you'd do
You will serve as a Security Assistant serving as the Tactical Training Group Atlantic (TTGL) Special Programs Assistant Security Specialist who serves as an Assistant for Special Access Program (SAP) and Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) Security of TACTRAGRULANT.
Major duties
You will construct Program Access Request (PAR) nominations to ensure they contain complete, accurate, necessary, and appropriate information and required documentation. You will coordinate with the USFFC IJSTO Chief by ensuring that Joint program access requests are processed with complete accuracy and in a timely fashion. You will assist with managing all COMSEC/KMI material that supports the SAP program in TTGL SAP/IJSTO Space at Train Hall. You will be receiving, processing and disseminating SAP visit certifications from commands eternal to TTGL. You will be receiving, compiling and reviewing for completeness, Special Access Program Nomination Process (SAPNP) packages. You will be drafting PARs as directed or otherwise receiving PARs and reviewing for completeness and correctness and entry in the electronic processing system. You will maintain and update the personnel security management module of the Joint Access Database System (JADS) and Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) which are non-intuitive, comprehensive databases that require intrusive attention to detail. You will be responsible for administrative functions of the SAP/IJSTO Space for TTGL.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience informing personnel on matters requiring clear-cut explanations of regulations and procedures. Experience determining eligibility for and access to classified or sensitive information, granting personnel security clearances, granting access in the presence of minor derogatory information, and presenting approving authority. Experience interpreting multi-agency regulations to explain security onboarding processes to staff and external agencies. Experience tracking, safeguarding, and routing classified materials and communications security (COMSEC) material under Two-Person Integrity (TPI) rules. Experience navigating and updating secure, detailed personnel tracking systems (e.g., DISS, JPAS, or equivalent specialized databases). Experience independently reviewing personal security packages, building Program Access Requests (PARs), and checking personnel files for clearance eligibility. Experience performing effective routine personnel and physical security inspections; Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing to present routine, day-to-day, briefings to management officials.
