SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Fleet Support Team (FST) Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Major duties
You will provide the technical competence, knowledge, and professional services required to sustain a weapon system, associated components, and related support systems You will review all task team charters, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA+M), and budget proposals prior to submittal to the FST Leader for funding. You will lead a team that is responsible to develop new and unique solutions to complex problems, often improving on existing in-service support and establishing a new state-of-the-art support system You will ensure the entire team maintains a high level of l knowledge and understanding for current and future system capabilities, problems, and requirements and provides technical planning for development, evaluation and support for the program. You will direct and manage the efforts/tasks of LEMs, technical data managers, data analysts, and other specialists from within and outside the command to ensure optimal Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing program sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics support, effectively managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system, and evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make logistical decisions.
