SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the NLSC.
Major duties
You will serve as a supervisory security specialist, responsible for echelon III Command oversight in physical security of multifaceted conventional security programs. You will implement and track completion of security tasks and initiatives. You will determine long range work plans and schedules to implement the goals and objectives of the subordinate programs. You will administer portions of the Command Personnel Security Program.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Providing authoritative security program guidance involving Physical, Personnel, Information, Operations, and Industrial Security based on regulations, policy, or guidance from higher headquarters over subordinate security specialists within area of responsibility (AOR); Independently resolving issues involving conflicting security requirements; Administering portions of the Command Personnel Security Program; Assisting in the development of security education program and delivering training.
