What you'd do

Major duties
You will archive electronic documents to maintain an organized and accessible computerized database. You will verify completeness of service work performed to confirm the accuracy of the work order database. You will generate queries in an automated system to provide requested reports. You will maintain historical records of all local telephone service work orders. You will draft or update instructions or standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What you need to qualify
TO QUALIFY FOR THE GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Receiving and processing physical facilities repair and/or maintenance customer service requests by phone and e-mail with minimal assistance; 2.) Using quality customer service to obtain relevant information regarding maintenances, repairs, and resources needed to complete requests; 3.) Utilizing automated systems and other applicable databases to record, review, and correct work orders, requests, and reports under higher-graded employees; 4.) Evaluating and categorizing various types of service requests to accurately classify work orders. TO QUALIFY FOR THE GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Receiving and processing physical facilities repair and/or maintenance customer service requests by phone and e-mail; 2.) Using quality customer service to obtain relevant information regarding maintenances, repairs, and resources needed to complete requests; 3.) Utilizing the asset management system MAXIMO, and other applicable databases to record, review, and correct work orders, requests, and reports; 4.) Evaluating and categorizing various types of service requests to accurately classify work orders.
