ELECTRONICS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic DIB & MRTFB in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is with Directorate of Industrial Operations located at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Major duties
Serves as supervisor over testing, troubleshooting and final adjustment of subassemblies, assemblies, and components used in electronic systems of guided missiles, ground equipment and associated test equipment. Supervisor will be required to supervise subordinates.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electronics Mechanic Supervisor ~ without more than normal supervision. Ability to perform the most difficult and complex Electronics Mechanic Supervisor duties. Ability to do Investigating work-related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity, and determining the cause; planning current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, and estimates; planning current and future work schedules, budget requests, estimates; making recommendations as to scheduling painting projects; and assigning the amount of manpower needed to complete an air defense missile system repair job in an efficient amount of time. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
