SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist Configuration Management Team Lead for the E2/C-2 Multi-Platform Fleet Support Team at the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Major duties
You will supervise, manage, and technically direct logistics processes and resources. You will assist in the development and executes the planning, directing, and prioritizing of activities and, therefore, must routinely adapt to frequent and unpredictable changes in program requirements and funding. You will provide resources and processes to support E2/C2 Multi-Platform Fleet Support Team and maintain the intended mission capability and to maintain inherent design capabilities of the systems at the minimum expenditure of resources. You will responsible for the Configuration Management functions associated with managing aircraft and weapon systems, involving many technical/ program decisions.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing and maintaining configuration management for assigned weapons systems and developing solutions for complex problems; 2) Providing total life cycle configuration management planning for designated program and projects; 3) Developing and implementing short and long-range program goals; 4) Applying knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of logistics management and configuration management to provide support for assigned weapon systems and ensure program needs are met; and 5) Coordinating with internal and external contacts to resolve logistics management issues or deficiencies. 6) Sets priorities, distributes workload and resources, tracks resource execution and evaluates progress of configuration management team members.
