What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the AUTONOMOUS TECHNOLOGIES of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Major duties
You will be responsible for supervision, planning, and coordination of all personnel and facilities assigned to the Branch. You will manage, supervise, lead, and/or perform professional engineering and scientific work. Selectee applies ISR Department and Center engineering policies, procedures, and requirements in their technical decision making. You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work focused on the design, development, commission, manufacture, operation, maintenance, and disposal of mechanical devices. You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work focused on the generation and application of theories, principles, practical concepts, processes, and systems related to the science of electronics engineering etc. You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work focused on the design, development and adaptation of mathematical, statistical, and other scientific methods and techniques to analyze problems and advice management. You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work such as application of, or research into computer science methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform or present information by means of computer systems.
What you need to qualify
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assists in providing research, analysis, systems engineering, design, development, and/or test and evaluation using innovative methods to ensure state of-the-art surveillance systems are delivered to Department of Navy (DoN) and Intelligence Communities (IC) programs.
