ENGINEER
What you'd do
You will serve as a ENGINEER in the DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of NIWC ATLANTIC.
Major duties
You will develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies to achieve mission objectives. You will lead integrated project teams to plan, execute, and sustain complex engineering programs. You will coordinate with technical experts and stakeholders to establish priorities, resolve issues, and ensure successful delivery. You will resolve complex technical and programmatic issues by negotiating with senior leaders and external organizations. You will apply Agile and systems engineering principles to support continuous product improvement and mission alignment. You will oversee R n D, test and evaluation, engineering integration, and sustainment activities.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or ND-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading complex engineering or technology projects by managing cross-functional teams through planning, execution, and sustainment within cost, schedule, and performance constraints. This includes developing program management plans, coordinating with senior stakeholders, resolving complex programmatic issues, and applying Agile and systems engineering methodologies to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
