Major duties
Identifies personnel actions processed by HR that did not interface correctly with DCPS and/or DAI timekeeping due to incorrect effective dates or termination dates. Ensures successful timesheet processing for employees who use any form of leave that management has certified requiring supporting documentation (i.e., court leave, military leave, etc) Ensures that all employees on the donated leave list posted on the DFAS Portal meet requirements for the program and use the correct time and attendance coding. Coordinates the submission of Remedy tickets, along with relevant supporting documentation, for the correction of issues in DCPS.
What you need to qualify
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-6) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: processing and reviewing a wide variety of payroll and timekeeping reports and transactions; resolving errors, researching and providing corrective resolution, and verifying accuracy of final product. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
