What you'd do

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FACILITY & INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Major duties

You will perform analytical studies and incorporate customer input in order to continually improve core functional processes of the organization. You will develop local policies, directives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will serve as the principal advisor to management on assigned efforts and develops/presents briefings to diverse audiences up to flag officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) level. You will independently initiate plans and carries out assignments within established policies and guidelines or recommends new policies and guidelines. You will review and/or draft education and training programs such as plans and course requirements to educate and train users on various processes. You will independently respond to questions from higher headquarters and external activities on all matters related to the application and capabilities of assigned efforts.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, analyzing, and implementing plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process improvement initiatives in support of the Facility & Plant Maintenance Division; 2) Analyzing current and future-state business processes, identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and lead efforts to improve throughput, effectiveness, and reliability; 3) Developing training materials, mentoring personnel, and providing guidance on processes, procedures, and improvement initiatives to support workforce performance and organizational effectiveness.
