Major duties

You will serve as the Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) Fires Planner with the Plans Branch (N38PLNS), Joint Forces Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (USFLTCYBERCOM), located at Fort Meade, Maryland. You will be responsible for the command and control (C2) of 800+ Joint Service Cyber Combat Mission Forces (CMF) personnel delivering warfighting effects through cyberspace. You will plan, direct and coordinate Cyberspace Operations (CO) priorities and efforts, working closely and collaboratively with many agencies. You will work closely and collaboratively with Cyberspace Operations-Integrated Planning Elements, C10F Task Force Elements and other partners to define, plan, coordinate and synchronize cyber operations and other actions of assigned CMF units. You will serve as a program analyst on planning and integrating OCO targeting actions.

What you need to qualify

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Experience utilizing operation plans (OPLANs) and concept plans (CONPLANs) to apply targeting methodology to identification and recommendations for targeting actions in support of these plans. Experience developing recommendations for non-lethal and information operation targeting effects that have the potential for substantial impact on the application of resources and planning priorities. Experience coordinating staff and material requirements during planning for targeting efforts, including knowledge of and ability to oversee targeting processes for operations and exercise planning. Experience facilitating planning for targeting efforts in support of operation plans and operation orders and knowledge of administrative control (ADCON), operational control (OPCON), and tactical control (TACON) relationships of forces organic to the Command. This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-0343-13.
