What you'd do

You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN) In the Budget/Contracts Support Branch 10931, Information Technology (IT) Business Division 1093, Information Technology & Cyber Security Office 109 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Major duties

You will provide first level supervision and management/oversight of work accomplished to a subordinate staff composed of civilian and contractor personnel. You will estimate and provide justifications of budget proposals in the anticipation and support of changing mission requirements. You will provide IT budget processes to include the budget planning and development, budget submission, budget execution, tracking, budget reconciliation and budget data calls. You will perform contract management for services, maintenance and subscription contracts. You will provide optimum procurement services to requestors within resource allocations and budget limitations. You will integrate knowledge of procurement and credit card regulations.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing administrative and technical first level supervision of civilian personnel. Experience developing and managing Information Technology (IT) program policies, procedures, and objectives, monitoring workload requirements, and managing IT budgets within resource constraints. Experience planning and executing IT contracts, including developing justifications, managing funds, and ensuring compliance with acquisition processes. Experience managing IT procurement and asset management functions.
