MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST of MARCORSYSCOM.
Major duties
You will coordinate budget and financial support activities by gathering, analyzing, and organizing funding information, preparing recommendations, and working with staff to ensure resources are managed accurately and effectively. You will independently plan and complete assigned projects that improve operational efficiency, evaluate program performance, develop practical solutions, and provide timely recommendations that support organizational goals and priorities. You will prepare accurate budget reports, financial analyses, presentations, and customized reports that monitor spending, forecast resource needs, track expenditures, and provide leaders with reliable information for decision making. You will maintain financial records, process travel, training, purchasing, and budget transactions, verify supporting documentation, and ensure all actions comply with established policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. You will communicate with staff, managers, and external vendors to coordinate payments, obtain required information, resolve financial issues, and provide responsive customer service while supporting mission and organizational objectives. You will collect and analyze data to identify trends, develop reports and presentations, improve reporting processes, monitor financial activities, and provide clear information that supports informed decisions and successful program execution.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Requires knowledge of training administration, management analysis, property management, and other administrative functions. 2. Requires judgment, analysis, discretion, and knowledge of the organizational objectives and the budget and financial conepts, policies and processes. 3. Ability to collect, analyze, and report data in order to identify trends, problems, and provide various training reports is required.
