The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking an IT Request Processing Technician #283. Major duties
Processes and tracks Technology Catalog Orders. Creates Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions and approves invoice. Changes and track Orders (Purchase Order Modification). Creates Contract Orders & Modifications (SharePoint, IQ, Scheduling, Web Design etc.) and forwards Purchase Orders with contract documentation to vendor. Manages and coordinates the Studios Senate Media Centers (Democratic & Republican Recording Studios). Manages and coordinates SAA Office Automation Orders. Other duties as assigned.
What you need to qualify
Other Duties/ Responsibilities Initiate POs for Senate IT approved equipment. Assist customers with purchases of non-standard IT equipment. Required Work Experience 1-2 years. Required Special Skills/ Knowledge As part of our hiring process, we may conduct a skills assessment to better understand an applicant’s proficiency in key areas relevant to the role. Effective communication. Work experience with ServiceNow, Asset Management and Excel. Desired Qualifications Experience creating purchase orders; billing and invoicing knowledge. Effective problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Able to prioritize multiple tasks while effectively managing daily workflow. Able to be a problem solver, handling sensitive situations and customer needs. Able to be an effective team player while working in a remote climate. Working Conditions No exceptional physical demands.
