Major duties

You will research and investigate new or improved business/management practices for application to Public Private Venture (PPV) programs. You will conduct technical family housing studies in order to recommend changes, improvements, and reductions in operations and management areas. You will update written internal operation procedures to provide guidance to staff on housing process (e.g., housing assignment, referral process, termination). You will evaluate management, maintenance, and operating costs and analyze current and past expenditures. You will monitor housing construction and renovation projects and long-range maintenance items. You will communicate process and planning efforts with senior specialists, the Regional Housing Director and Program Manager.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring the implementation of public-private venture housing and facilities agreements; 2) Managing resources for the efficient operation and utilization of housing projects or facilities; 3) Analyzing current and past operations and expenditures to determine future requirements for housing goals; and 4) Evaluating and assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of housing processes and procedures.
