This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will conduct physical security surveys of installation perimeter, designated restricted areas, and other required facilities. and crime prevention surveys. You will be responsible for the daily support and maintenance of the installation access control tools, devices and equipment to include handheld scanners, CCTV, entry control points and vehicle barriers. You will review all security requirement waivers and exemption requests from the installation and tenant commands. You will issue, maintain, and account for the security key and lock program. You will conduct Arms, Ammunition and Explosives surveys. You will maintain an accurate record of tenant command designated restricted area letters.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining key control; inspecting, analyzing, and evaluating security systems; utilizing various security systems and databases (such as the Marine Corps Electronic Security System (MCESS); AND assisting with developing security program policies and procedures. Certificates or SPeD transcripts for completion of Introduction to Physical Security PY011.16, Physical Security Measures PY103.16, Physical Security Planning and Implementation PY106.16 Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0000/security-administration-series-0080/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
