Major duties

You will develop and implement financial management plans, procedures, and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources to facilitate accomplishment of the organization's mission. You will develop internal guidance and processes in relation to the execution of financial resources and other internal operations. You will recommend the adoption or implementation new and revised financial management concepts, procedures, and strategies in support of the organization's programs. You will review execution documents/reports using available financial management systems. You will coordinate enterprise financial data calls, budget submissions, manpower requirements, and execution reviews across NIPO organizations and external stakeholders to support effective management of multiple funding sources. You will serve as the senior Financial Management Analyst to NIPO leadership on the planning, formulation, execution, and oversight of multiple financial resources.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing program requirements and making recommendations on the allocation of fiscally responsible funds. Providing authoritative counsel on the financial structuring of strategic initiatives and formulating solutions to complex issues. Monitoring obligations and expenditures, ensuring financial accounts are balanced against plans and established benchmarks. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
