Major duties

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Information Technology Division (SPB16), Operations Management Department (SPB10), Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) on Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, BANGOR, WA. You will be responsible for tracking fielded IT Equipment and maintains all hardware, network devices, servers and software license information in the IT equipment asset management database. You will provide reports to management of which assets are scheduled to have their warranty protection expire and need to be placed under an extend warranty or maintenance contract. You will serve as Hardware/Software Service Contracts Manager for the IT Division using both contract and purchase card vehicles to purchase licensing and support services as requested for customers and functional team leads. You will serve as SWFPAC Telephone Control Officer (TCO), preparing Local Service Request (LSR) for all new or change of telephone service requests within the Organization. You will provide a complete range of administrative services to support the agencies facilities.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-01 (GS-04 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1. Attention to Detail- Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
