What you'd do

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.

Major duties

You will assist the NOLCB/CRC Director in carrying out the duties assigned as the Navy’s focal point for all ordnance positioning, distribution, sourcing, and movement functions supporting deployed forces. You will be interfacing directly with Fleet and Geographic Combatant Commands in the coordination and development of ordnance distribution and positioning plans utilizing Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) and Operational Plan (OPLAN) data. You will oversee all traffic/transportation management business processes and procedures and provide oversight of the coordination of naval ordnance movements globally, ensuring the use of the most cost-effective means of transportation. You will assist the NOLCB/CRC Director in the direction of NALC interfaces with Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Agency (NOSSA) on Ammunition Management and Accountability Reviews (AMAR).

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying expert knowledge of Logistics Management principles. 1. Must demonstrate at least one year of experience leading a team towards achieving a common goal. 2. Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of Ammunition and Ordnance Logistics to include asset sourcing. 3. Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of Ordnance Information System-Wholesale (OIS-W) and or equivalent Supply System of another service. 3. Subject Matter Expert knowledge of Ordnance Inventory Management and Ordnance Requirements. 4. Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of how to obtain, create and analyze data related to Ordnance Logistics and Requirements.
