PERSONAL PROPERTY OFFICER
What you'd do
You will serve as a PERSONAL PROPERTY OFFICER in the Distribution Management Office, AC/S Logistics of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Major duties
You will manage the overall direct management, policy and procedural guidance, sets priorities, advises, and counsels, supervision, technical advice, development, and implementation of operating procedures. You will plan and assign work, identify and provide training, conducts performance ratings of subordinates, and interview and select candidates for vacancies. You will attend and plan sessions, participate in the formulation of plans for budgeting and staffing, reports on workload and production indicators, projects requirements for supplies, services and equipment. You will insure that all inquiries regarding personal property are properly answered and/or otherwise appropriately handled including congressional inquiries and deceased member matters. You will be responsible and accountable for administering the personal property program in an effective and timely matter, and in accordance with broadly established plans, policies, and general program objectives.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the procurement of personal property transportation services, policy, procedural guidance advice, development and implementation of operating procedures.
