Major duties
You will serve as the Navy and Marine Corp Internet Activity Customer Technical Representative and Installation Information System Security Officer. You will facilitate the sustainment of hardware and software for the command. You will be responsible for coordination, integration, and administration of the technical aspects of systems. You will be responsible for translating user IT requirements to the program managers and support teams. You will provide a full range of information assurance management services.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supporting management and administration in the delivery of Information Technology (IT) services (e.g., end user hardware and software installation, inventory, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical refresh); 2) Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues and optimizing end users' information systems (e.g., accounts, software applications, hardware, operating systems, network, and cellular and mobile devices); 3) Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and reporting problems with customer delivered services, network outages, and maintaining high customer service standards and precise attention to details when communicating technical solutions to stakeholder audiences.
