INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
What you'd do
You will serve as an INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING & TECH WORK DOC MGT DIV, FRCSW ENGINEERING FST of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Major duties
You will serve as the senior industrial engineering technician (IET) lead for assigned production and Centralized Coordination Office (CCO) Business Development Division (BDD) projects/programs. You will track productivity initiatives and process improvements and assess their influence on workload standards. You will support FRCSW capability establishment projects for aircraft, component, engine, and ground support equipment systems. You will establish time standards and man-hour estimates for existing and emerging programs to support accurate resource planning. You will gather, analyze, and interpret technical and production data for special studies and division-led initiatives. You will develop and maintain Master Work Plans to ensure accurate scheduling, configuration control, and workload execution.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Independently developing, revising, releasing, and maintaining industrial work documents (e.g., Master Work Plans, routers, Bills of Material, workload standards, or equivalent requirements documentation). 2) Applying configuration control principles to ensure incorporation of engineering directives, technical changes, and quality requirements within authorized production systems. 3) Performing validation and verification (VAL/VER) and technical requirements reconciliation to ensure production documentation accurately reflects approved specifications, directives, and engineering changes, including execution or support of new capability establishment, workload activation, or major production transitions. 4) Making technical determinations regarding production requirements, sequencing, material application, or work methods, and coordinating corrective or improvement actions when discrepancies are identified. 5) Serving as a lead IET, primary program support IET, or functional technical point of contact for assigned workload areas.
